(OurMob, n.d.)
We are now at Moree where the law prohibited Aboriginal people or people that had Aboriginal in them to use the swimming pool or the local artesian baths after or before school hours. The Aboriginals could only use the them during school hours. The town also did not allow Aboriginal people to share hospital facilities with white people. Also they got buried away from the white people too. They held a protest outside the local council and even gained permission of eight aboriginal kids parents to take them to the pool to try and gain entry. The Refused so Perkins went and got more kids but the manager refused saying "Darkies not allowed in". An hour past and the Mayer, the manager and four police officers came up with a answer to satisfy Perkins. They are now aloud in as long as they were "clean". So since it was all good now we decided to leave little did we know three days later the law is back with no Aboriginals allowed in. I am very disappointed, I thought we had achieved what we wanted too.
